How it works

Three steps, and you only pay at the end — if you go ahead

Step 1

Send one photo

Snap the roof from a window or wherever you can see it safely. No form, no sign-up, no email required.

Step 2

See what we can spot

Open joins, water sitting on the surface, blistering, edge lifting — described in plain words, not roofing jargon.

Step 3

Get a fixed price, free

Mussi comes out, checks it properly, and puts a fixed price in writing. Still free at that point.

A photo is triage, not a survey — it can't show what's happening under the membrane or inside the roof build-up. It's there to tell you whether you have something worth acting on. The on-site check is what produces a real diagnosis, and it costs nothing.

FAQ

Questions about the free roof check

What the photo check can and can't tell you, and what happens next.

  • Is the roof check really free?
Yes. The online photo check is free and needs no sign-up, and the on-site inspection that follows is also free — including the written fixed price. We only charge once you accept a quote and we do the work.
  • How accurate is a check from one photo?
It is triage, not a survey. A photo reliably shows surface condition, open joins, ponding water and blistering, which is enough to tell you whether you have a problem worth acting on. It cannot show what is happening under the membrane, at the upstands, or inside the roof build-up. That is why the on-site check is free — it is the step that produces a real diagnosis and a fixed price.
  • What photo should I take?
One clear shot of the roof surface itself, taken from above or from an upstairs window looking down. Include any area you are worried about — a stain, a bubble, a join that has lifted, or water sitting after rain. Never climb onto a wet or fragile roof to get a photo; if you cannot see it safely, just call us and we will come and look.
  • Where does the price range come from?
It is our real recoat rate band applied to the roof size you enter, shown including GST. It moves with roof size because that is the biggest single driver of cost. It is a ballpark to tell you the order of magnitude — access, substrate condition, fall, detailing and the system specified all change the final figure, which is why the on-site fixed price is free.
  • What happens to my photo and details?
The photo is sent for analysis and used to generate your on-screen reading; it is not published or passed to anyone else. Your name, phone and address go straight to Mussi so he can call you to book the inspection. We do not sell or share your details.
  • Do you check commercial roofs too?
Yes. The tool works the same for a body-corporate block, a school, a warehouse or a retail roof. For larger commercial and council work we usually go straight to a full site inspection and condition report rather than relying on photos, so call or email and we will arrange it.
