What it is
Torch-on bitumen is a two-layer membrane system bonded with a controlled flame. The underlay and cap-sheet together form a thick, robust roof that handles foot traffic and complex detailing.
When to use it
- Roofs that need trafficable surfaces, including decks and walkways.
- Roofs with lots of penetrations, upstands, and edge detail.
- Substrates where adhesion to a complex shape matters more than sheet flatness.
